Tori Amos "American Doll Posse" Album
Recorded and Mixed at Martian Engineering...

The Martian Sound Crew were trusted with the recording and mixing of Tori's 9th Studio Album "American Doll Posse". Although there are 23 tracks, Tori only had credit for singing on five of them! The other tracks were sung by Clyde, Isabel, Santa and Pip. We also had the great pleasure of hosting the photo shoot for the album, photographer Blaise Reuterswärd and his team spent several days here, we even supplied the chicken!   link

Control Room Refurb...

After ten years of hard use, last month we gave the control room a full refurbishment, we started with a new Jatoba hardwood floor which was carefully selected for its origin from sustainable forestry, the same source was used for new Oak paneling and skirting. Our old CRT monitors were replaced with a pair of Panasonic 42" Plasma panels, new lower energy lighting was then fitted, all in all a nice job if we say so ourselves!

Mark & Marcel in TL Audio Magazine Adverts...

Our gallant sound engineer duo recently appeared in some TL Audio magazine adverts!
The boys said: "we've been auditioning TL gear for years, we always seem to use at least an EQ-1 during mix-down, and when recording we often use all three of our PA-1 valve pre-amps."
